Pictures!

Carefully mismatched socks

Well it looks like I started something. I was at a knitting group meeting a few weeks ago and a lady came in wearing these really cool colored socks. When you look at them they are not the same but yet they are. The colors are the same but the patterns are not. They were soo cool I had to order some. When I did I wore them to the LYS (that's blog speak for Local Yarn Store) for the Friday morning KnitWits group and everyone also loved them. It's great to see that you are not the only crazy one the block. So we all wore our socks and posed for pictures. Cause we are crazy like that....

Gauge, smage!

Who said you had to check gauge before knitting? That takes all the adventure out of knitting don't ya think? Don't be concerned about my future knitting, this is a clog that has yet to be felted. It will shrink and fit just fine. That is after I make the second one. That's the problem with foot ware, you need two socks, two clogs. I might learn to knit mittens but then again, you need two of those also. I guess practice makes perfect!

Gauge, smage!

Froggy! ! !

Can you believe this? This is the cutest knit frog I have ever seen. It was a gift from my new knitting buddy, Gerry. She knows how I love frogs and she just knitted it up for me. Only a fellow knitter would do that. Knitters are great friends. Thanks Gerry!
